PRIVATE RENTAL BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS Las Arenas. Alcalde Marcial Sanchez Velasquez Fuerteventura 1. The Payment. The appropriate balance is required as shown on the booking form, and the balance of the monies due 6 weeks prior to departure. In the case of bookings made six weeks or less prior to departure, full payment must accompany the terms and conditions form. If payment is not received within this timescale Mr& Mrs Hodkin reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply the charges as set out in point 4. 2. Price Guarantee. The price given to you by Mr & Mrs Hodkin remains fixed and is not subject to change. 3. Insurance. As a material condition of your booking you must have adequate holiday insurance cover-to-cover medical, injury, personal property and cancellation charges. The owners accept no liability whatsoever for loss or damage caused during your holiday. Likewise any injury or loss of life caused on or around any of the properties is also excluded. Any dispute will be settled by UK jurisdiction. Persons renting this accommodation are reminded that there is no official supervision on the pool area and the renter must accept responsibility for arranging adequate supervision of accompanying children when using the facility. 4. Cancellation by you. You may cancel your booking if you wis,h in which case written notification must be given to Mr & Mrs Hodkin in writing by the person who signed the booking form. The date of cancellation will be the date Mr & Mrs Hodkin receives the cancellation notice, not the date of posting. In the event of cancellation by you the following charges will be payable by you: Period before departure Cancellation Fee % of total rental cost: 45 weeks prior to departure date ---------------------- -Deposit only 6 weeks prior to departure date ------------------------ -Deposit + 70% of balance Less than 4 weeks prior to departure date --------- -Payment in full. Cancellation fees excluding deposit and expenses or any discounts will be waived pro rata if Mr & Mrs Hodkin is able to let the apartment to another party prior to arranged departure date.
