Zoo & animal park This sleepy little fishing village, with it’s black sandy beach, is beautiful in itself, however the Zoo Safari is a fun day out. This small zoo park is home to over 200 species of birds including toucans, cranes and pelicans. However you can also see monkeys, lizards and crocodiles. Open daily from 9am – 7pm |
Ferries to Lanzarote The Armas ferry, which can be boarded at Correlajo, offers regular day trips to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. Fred Olsen offer the same, although it's worth mentioning that the Armas is quicker. Departures times are every two hours, starting from 8am from Monday through to Saturday with a reduced service on Sundays. Isla de Lobos Enjoy the beautiful island of Los Lobos. A virtually uninhabited island that takes its name from the many seals that once lived there. Los Lobos has no roads or vehicles, just footpaths to wander to give you the feel of a real desert island. You can visit the old harbour, lighthouse or the inactive volcano, or you might prefer to spend your day around the crystal clear blue water of the lagoons and the warm water, safe beach. |
